Japanton – Chronicles of Anton in Japan!

Tonight in class, we will break apart some of the kata we have been working on into the Kihon on which they are based.

Today, before we start class I am going to ask if there are any questions. Then I will ask Kihon or Kata. If there are no requests then I will go through some material from the curriculum.

Today in class, we will work on Bojutsu and Kenjutsu. We will also look at Iai for those who are interested.

Tonight in class, some more selections from Koto Ryu.

We will continue with our study of Koto Ryu, the goal will be showing the same kata but with a focus on various themes depending on skill level.

Tomorrow is my personal training day. People are welcome to come, but we’re working on whenever I wanna work on that particular second.

We will be going through the Shoden Bojutsu kata again vs a sword. If we get through all of them we will work on counters from the Uke’s point of view.

Tonight in class, we will continue to look at the Koto Ryu Kata.

Tonight we will be working on Koto Ryu Kata from the Shoden. This will allow us to integrate some of the lessons from the Kihon Happo.
