Japanton – Chronicles of Anton in Japan!

Tonight in class we will be going over material from 9th kyu to 7th kyu depending on where each individual is at in their studies. We will soon be in full swing in our rotation and slowly add material up to 5th kyu. In the curriculum, the goal is by 5th kyu a student will have some familiarity with all the material from the Ten Ryaku no Maki.

Tonight in class we will review the essence of what defines the first 3 kyu levels in the curriculum. After that we will put these elements into practice.

We will continue with 8th kyu tonight. I am revisiting a pattern that I did when I first started teaching over 2 decades ago, we will cycle between 9th to 7th kyu to build our foundation, while incorporating Kata which use the fundamentals contained there in.

Tonight in class we will be going over all of 8th Kyu. I will demonstrate all techniques and we will choose a selection to work on.

Tonight in class we will be going over 8th kyu. This will continue on the theme from Monday and allow some visitors to see the material they need to practice until they are next able to visit.
