{"id":399,"date":"2009-04-09T10:31:52","date_gmt":"2009-04-09T16:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/japanton.com\/?p=399"},"modified":"2009-04-09T10:31:52","modified_gmt":"2009-04-09T16:31:52","slug":"us-west-coast-tai-kai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/japanton.com\/?p=399","title":{"rendered":"US West Coast Tai Kai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently there was a tai kai featuring two friends of mine, Paul Masse and Rob Renner.\u00a0 You can see a <a title=\"West Coast Tai Kai\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Vph1HMHUxWI\" target=\"_blank\">preview for the video here<\/a>.\u00a0 It can be purchased at <a href=\"http:\/\/bujinkanlife.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.bujinkanlife.com<\/a> for 29.95 US.<\/p>\n<p>I am waiting for my copy right now actually.\u00a0 I usually would not pre-approve a video but these are two guys who have significant Japan experience.\u00a0 There is a real connection that they have which I have to insist people analyze and try to emulate.<\/p>\n<p>A short note about Paul and Rob.\u00a0 Paul Masse trains weekly with sensei where he is occasionally translating.\u00a0 In fact all the times that I have been in Japan I think I have been to one Hatsumi Sensei class where I did not see him.\u00a0 The same can be said about Rob.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Sensei&#8217;s classes Rob trains with Oguri, Nagato, Noguchi and Seno Senseis.\u00a0 He occasionally translates for Oguri and Nagato senseis.\u00a0 (Rob also teaches 5 classes a week at his own dojo.)<\/p>\n<p>Thus you can be sure that you are in good hands when you learn from them.\u00a0 That&#8217;s all I have to say about this video, for now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently there was a tai kai featuring two friends of mine, Paul Masse and Rob Renner.\u00a0 You can see a preview for the video here.\u00a0 It can be purchased at www.bujinkanlife.com for 29.95 US.
